Contest Quick $35 Logo Competition

I need a logo for my company's rebrand. It will be used on my webpage, business card, letterhead, etc.

The new name for my company is "Amplified AEC", it's a company that does Architectural Photography, 3D renders, Draftsman work and building measurements.

So we service Architects, Engineers, Developers, and Builders.

My company is located in Atlanta Georgia USA but I have clients in other states as well.

My company will be called Amplified AEC because we will amplify the companies work so they can get more out of having fewer employees. AEC stands for Architecture-Engineering-Construction

I don't want people thinking we sell speakers though, so stay away from anything in the logo that could suggest that. Here are some examples of bad logos

I generally like logos that are simple and clean. Here are some logo's I like.

I like these color pallets but I'm open to others, I like blue, but I've stayed away from that because I need this brand to be powerful and expansive.

This is my old logo, I've outgrown it because my company has changed a lot since then. I do like how it's clean and very regal looking though.

The winner will need to provide the logo in vector (also in Photoshop would be helpful)

Comments:
-I don't have any connections to the Atlanta -Hawks.
-I don't want black to be the dominant color.
-A skyline is an interesting idea, it definitely fits the theme. I'm not sure if that's the direction of like to go but maybe.
-great first submission! I like where you're going.

 

-I thought the Hawk was on the flag of Atlanta. Sorry.
-The colour Black is only the background.

Individual Comments:
@EDDesign The buildings are making more sense to me, can you go a different direction with the color and instead of wings maybe a "Divider Tool".

@jnjnnino I like your idea, can you clean it up a bit though, it looks a little too cluttered. My favorite part is how the A is a symbol that can be used like a Nike Swoosh to have simple brand recognition.

@3SS The second could be mistaken for sound equipment, and the first put all the emphasis on the AEC, Amplified is where I want the emphasis. I like simple, but neither really stand out as a brand.

@technoguy I like your A, similar to "jnjnnino" it is a symbol that can be used like a Nike Swoosh to have simple brand recognition. I'm not in love with the A though, Maybe make it a little more geometric, I'm not sure.

@divineworld Some of my favorite colors, it just feels a little too close to other big brand logos. I'll try to look for what I'm thinking of.

@qwerty111 First design would be really hard to have on a Tee-shirt or something, without the ruler it would just look like an a, the second design looks too similar to the Adobe logo.

@getdomain4u Your logo especially the second one looks great, I like the colors and just as a logo it looks really fun, it just doesn't really feel branded to what I do. Feels like an aviation company or something.

@itsmealdy I like the idea of using a skyline as the A. The rest of the words are really small though, and I'd like to to be more colorful.

 

Overall comments:

I like the idea of part of the logo being able to stand alone and be recognizable, like the Apple, Nike, or target.
I'm not sure why wings have been a big theme, Atlanta's football team and fire department are themed after birds, but it's not that prominent and doesn't really fit all that well with what I do.

These are looking great overall though and I'm really excited to pick a winner.

@logos4all can you explain this a little more, I'm guessing it's a house or a skyline?

The design is representing skylines and 3d illusion of buildings and the lines around them shows measuring, since the company does Architectural Photography of building measurements.
