is it good idea to start big project with .app domain ?

i have some ideas , it think it is a big project .

The desired domain for .com tld is asking 5000$ .

But i may register .app domain for the same name .

is it bad idea to start with .app domain ?

All big web projects are .Com , what do think should i pay 5000$ and buy the .Com or go with .app ?

I would have to think it is one of the best new extensions to purchase with the https supplied by Google the owner of .app They will no longer index any URL with out the https security. I picked up Canada Cannabis in the .app extension awhile ago. I should just redirect it to some one with an affiliate program selling weed. With enough money and marketing you can brand nearly anything. The drug companies do it all the time with made up words. I still prefer .com the "King" but some new extensions fit nice. Try .net, .co, .us, .org, many more are there search them on hostgator or godaddy if something like this is available for you.
