Best wordpress theme for news?

I am working on a new site that I want to talk about the news and would like to link news articles from other sites to it and have it look clean and stylish and easy to read. (something where I say a little about the article, it shows a snipit like a photo from the articles website and a few paragraphs and then they can read the rest at the actual site. Anyone have any suggestions?

I would suggest Divi theme (just Google it).

No one is the best, but you can find many good WordPress themes for using with news sites at Themeforest, Themedivi, Eleganttheme,

 

Has anyone tried Divi yet? I am looking for some reviews. I need to set up a resource site and later i am planning to monetize it with affiliates. Is Divi worth buying for such purpose or nah?

 

I've used Divi setting up websites for a few clients. Very versatile with a lot of templates you can use as a starting point for pretty much anything. They update the theme often so you don't have to worry about issues.

Not affiliated with them either... just happy with the theme overall.

You can easily build a nice responsive theme for free using elementor or Divi. There's a lot of templates in news niche to experiment on both the site builders.
