    Hi guys,
    I used to work with an SEO company in the past and they managed to purchase some very cheap but complete sites for me (so not expired domains, but full websites), which they used to link my site from. An example is this one: ihdbarbercollege.com
    I no longer work with them and of course they didn't tell me how they did it, and now I am curious to find out where they found those websites, which platform they used to research related and available for sale sites which they purchased for $10-$20. On regular website selling platforms no one lists their sites for that cheap.

    I agree, it sounds cheap. I doubt you'll find any/many in that price range. To find available domains I almost always use: https://instantdomainsearch.com/

    If they used to buy complete website, i think you should take a look at flippa. It's a marketplace where you sell/buy running website. I am not sure your employed would be using it but you may try it and see if it's useful for you.
