    Some of my favorites are horror.....The Shining, The Thing and Alien. *tries to think of more*

    The John Carpenter The Thing though was too much for me when I was younger (saw it way too young!!)....but now I can sit back and enjoy, it's a very, very well made movie....The structure and pace, lighting and sound. It's a shame that it got neglected and crushed by ET...it seems to have survived though...mainly because John Carpenter is such a good filmmaker. Has anybody seen his last movie The Ward?
