For SEo Im doing my title tags to include 2 kewwords "web hosting services" and "web design services".

    This is my title tag
"Zeus Host | Web Hosting Services and Web Design Services"

Is this ok. to us "services" twice or is it bad practice. Why?

No, it would be better for the title to be something like: Web Design & Web Hosting Services | Zeus Host

    I agree with dcristo.

And if you use titles that looks cheesy like this one. Google will probably ignore all of your titles and show whatever they seem relevant.

Well, you are doing it wrong, brother. You have set your aim incorrectly by choosing two different keywords (subject/services/topics) for 1 page.
"web hosting services" and "web design services" are two different things. You should make 2 pages; one of each.

For more help with your tags, I recommend you to watch this video till end. It includes awesome information.

It isn't good at all to use a word twice in your title tags. This is because it appears to be spammy and Google won't consider it.

    Hi,

I think your home page title should be more inline with hosting and do a different page for web design, On a second note your in a tough industry, So many hosts out there trying to get ranked naturally is going to be a job in itself.

    Best Regards

I recently decided to change it to "Zeus Host | Web Host and Web Design Service"
and the description "Web Host Providing Website Hosting, Web Design and Domain Sales" Should I change it to "Zeus Host |Web Host" When I want the search engines to say web design too.

If you cannot make two pages for these services and need to target both keywords on the same page (maybe you are talking about the home page), then the best possible title is--
"Web Hosting and Web Design Services | Zeus Host"

    Hope this helps!

Domain Sales? It would make more sense to use Domain Registration. Also, it's not ideal to use the brand name at the beginning of the title.

Did you try bookmarking your link on MANY different systems? Are you selling web services or are you selling Zeus Host? Putting the site name before the page name can cause you problems with bookmarks if more than one of your pages are bookmarked by the same visitor. If his bookmark list is clipped because of screen size he will have two or more of your bookmarks with the SAME visible wording even though they go to different pages. And you can bet that his bookmarks WILL be clipped because your title is so long. Do you REALLY want your visitors to have the SAME visible title for EVERY page he bookmarks?

Not only that, even if he ONLY bookmarks ONE page, he STILL will not see the whole title in MOST cases. All he will see is a partial title starting from the left and MAY NEVER see the right portion which I believe is MORE important than the left portion.

First thing you need to do is understand what a TITLE tag is for... and it is NOT for blindly stuffing words into willy-nilly. No matter how many SEO-tards will tell you their "keywords research" malarkey means to shoe-horn in certain words all over the place DON'T DO IT. All it will do long-term is get you blacklisted; typically well after the alleged SEO experts have taken their share of the $$$ and done a "Billy Joe and Bobby Sue" on you. Two young lovers wiiiith nothing better to do...

The title tag is -- as @mmerlin quoted from another of my posts -- for the window frame title, tab title, and to be used on the SERP listing or any other automated backlinks to your page. That's what it's FOR. Doing much else with it is a giant middle finger to usability, accessibility, and is again long term likely to get you kicked down for abuse.

... and seriously, I don't know which dumb f*** started this trend of using vertical break characters (or 'pipe' if you prefer) but they need a good swift kick in the groin.

To that end, I would NOT be stuffing the tagline into the flipping TITLE tag. It has ZERO business there. Site title, DONE!

    <title>Zeus Host</title>

If you have a subpage, such as "Contact Us" then you:

    <title>Contact Us - Zeus Host</title>

You want to provide more information than that, use the bloody description META. The rest of that crap has ZERO business in there.

... and even if it did, DRY. Don't repeat yourself. Overuse of certain words can also result in a tag's content being ignored and/or getting you pimp slapped clear off the search results. This is why the thesaurus is your friend as using the same adjectives and nouns over and over is bad writing, AND could trigger an abuse warning.

Hence IF I were to include that extra text in the description META, it would likely get reduced to just:

    "Web Hosting and Design Services"

Don't say web twice, don't say services twice. That's just sloppy writing. Kind of like my penchant for run-on sentences I never seem to be able to break myself of.

Remember what <title> and the description META are actually FOR!

    <title>My Site</title>
    <meta name="description" content="describe your site here">

    Code (markup):
Would/should resolve to this on your SERP listing: (assuming structural depth 2)

    <h2><a href="url">My Site</a></h2>
    <p>describe your site here</p>

    Code (markup):
That's what they're FOR. Some alleged SEO "expert" tells you otherwise, they're ignorant twaddles in desperate need of a quadruple helping of sierra tango foxtrot uniform.
