    Target the leaders in your niche. For example if you are into technology, you target TechCrunch. If you are into social media, target Mashable. It might not be that easy. It will take time in establishing a relationship. But, once you get there it will be good for you.

    It is often said that backlinks are valued when they are in context. How is the "context" measured? Can context be created by the comment itself, if commenting on a blog?
