Contest $30 Logo Contest

I'm looking for a sort of old fashioned logo. Don't have a set timeframe, but I'll probably make my decision today or tomorrow. Once I see the one I like.

This is a logo for:
Hard Knot Woodcrafters

I like most of the old fashioned once with text rounded around the outside, and EST 2019 somewhere.

Google Woodwork Logos and check out the images...I like pretty much all of them, so the design really is completely up to you.

Take your best shot, I'll reply quickly with a yay/nay or remarks.

I like the idea, but I'm not fond of the font, and the smoothness of the circle. I'm looking for something more rustic. That one kinda reminds me of a neon bar sign at first look.

I like that idea, but I'd like the "Hard Knot" to stand out more than the "Woodworking". And if you could get it to look like there is a knot in that piece of log, that would be awesome.

I like that first one better than the others. I'm not fond of the trees though, think you could make it a wood plane instead?

Could you also try to make it look like the inside of a log instead of the saw? And if you could get it to look like there is a knot in the wood that would be even better .

@kainraziall that is really nice. I'm looking for something a little more rustic/old (hard to explain) with the "Hard Knot" text though, can you try it with a different font? I'm not a big fan of the ribbon part of it though, as that doesn't really have anything to do with wood work. This is really good though, it's definitely near the top of the list (if not the top)

@3SS not really liking that at all...the orange gradient text is nothing like what I'm looking for. I said old fashioned looking. It does look pretty good in that second shot of it cut into wood though. The plane looks a little out of place, possible make it longer (there are long versions of planes you can take a look at).

@ngodz I like the design overall, a few things though. The rope, while I like the idea of having something there between the text...the rope doesn't really have anything to do with wood working. The Hard Knot text is a little much. I like the idea of flowing text, but that text just isn't clicking with me much.

@Free23 the orange text is horrible, could just be brown like the other accents. And while I like the level of detail, it also has to look good when printed in black and white...think you can show a version of what that might look like? And lastly...can you work a "knot" into the wooded part somewhere?

@getdomain4u Much nicer than the first one, a top contender for sure! I'd like the saw to be a little more realistic looking though, it's blades are way too rounded to be real.

@pehulz sorry, not to be harsh or anything, but that just doesn't look good; the log doesn't look realistic at all. The text is fine though.

@logos4all that does look good, but I'm not really getting a "this is wood working business" feeling out of it. Looks too generic.

@galalogo sorry that doesn't look good, looks more like clipart than a logo.
