    Hi all,

I was wondering if it is legal for me to post images from Google directly to my website.

    Thanks,

What Google Images? Can you be more specific?

If you mean from Google Photos, that is fine as long as it is not a property of another user. If you're talking about Google's logos, that is fine as long as you don't claim to be affiliated, claim to be representing Google, or make money out of it as it is Google's trademark.

Some photos that you see on Google are copyrighted. You cannot legally use those without permission from the owner. If you want to use any photo I advise that you first make sure it is not under copyright.

Yes, but ONLY if you get permission (preferably WRITTEN) from the COPYRIGHT OWNER before you use them.

It's better not to do that as google collects images from different websites and they have different owners. You may have problems posting some photos without their permission.

Why would you like to do that?
There are websites, where you can get images for free like pixabay or unsplash.

I am TOTALLY confused here. Since you have omitted many key words you have essentially told us NOTHING.

So, I took the liberty of adding the words that you FORGOT to include:

No you cannot, unless the website which has the image is not allowing you to do so.
