If you have customers from all over the world and you are looking to accept payments from all over the world you will need to have a paypal account. There is no other option or alternative. If you go for alternative route you will lose a lot of customers who only want to pay with paypal.

    Hi Machinist_911,

If your customer base is India, then you can go ahead with the following alternatives for PayPal:
    1. Skrill
    2. Wepay
    3. Selz
    4. Instamojo
    5. Paytm

I sell WordPress Themes. There is no market at all for Premium WordPress Themes in India, so all of my customer base is overseas.
For Indian transactions, there is absolutely no problem. These International transaction fees can sometimes feel rather expensive. Just looking for an alternate solution but doesn't look like there is one.

I think if you are focused on Indian market than I would suggest you to go with Instamojo. They are free to join and fees are very minimal. They process all credit and debit card transactions. Hope it will help you.

This is my question too. PayPal is to expensive. High processing fee and unfair exchange rates.
