    Nobody goes to article directories to read articles. They use search engines. Article directory sites were demoted years ago.

    Awful advice. Google penalized article directories years ago. If you actually submitted articles to article directories, you'd know the referral traffic is negligible now. You should publish good content on your own site.

    As for me, it's worth mentioning the social networks share. You can make business page at Facebook to post links to your website. You can also add your website in the bio of your business Instagram account. One more method is to cooperate with owners of websites with similar content as yours and to agree on links exchange.

    Article directories are still of great use in many ways. We really find many interesting articles on variety of subjects. You can use it as you like either by rewriting them or developing them further with your own new ideas on the topic. They are also good source of backlins - do follow backlings - particularly the ezine articles and others too.
