Hi again DPers. We have another logo contest for your expertise, this one is a graphic element only suitable for a Non-profit group raising awareness of Dyslexia in the community This client is after a simple but stylish graphic element to professionally brand their group with. From previous contests we know clever designs and originality are always a client pleaser! The business is called P r o u d l y D y s l e x i c (spaced to avoid search engines) IDEAS FROM CLIENT: Client has supplied 2 images, the DCDC2 is the gene identified as causing dyslexia so the client would like to see this gene (see image above) incorporated into the design if possible. The client has also supplied a second graphic showing a different logo they like full of related words. If you are going to go with this design then it must include the words "proudly dyslexic, creative, visionary, intuitive, empathy, advocacy, awareness and action". PREFERRED COLOURS: rainbow colours FILE TYPE: I'm after vectored design in either layered PSD, EPS or AI formats. I prefer layered PSD. Your design must be vector to resize without loss of quality. Client needs to use this design for signage, website, stationery, flyers etc. and business cards RULES / VALID ENTRIES: All entries must be your original design, Clipart or copyrighted images are not valid entries. All entries must be submitted in this thread. Once winning designer is chosen and logo is paid for you agree to assign all rights to your design over to my client for their exclusive use. Entrants may use their own design for their own portfolio only. TIME: This contest will run for maximum 7 days closing 31st August, 2018 at the latest. Contest may close before 31st August, 2018 if the client chooses a suitable entry, so please submit your entry as soon as possible. PRIZES: We are offering 1 prize for this contest, 1st prize of AUD$50 will be paid instantly payment via Paypal once the winner is chosen. FEEDBACK: I will present all entries to the client on Monday and will provide their feedback here ASAP. I may comment on individual entries but I am not the one who decides the ultimate winner . Please submit your entry soon. Every valid entry gets a like from me. If the client doesn't choose a winner after 31st August, 2018 then the contest may be extended by 1 week. Only entrants who submitted a design in the first round will be eligible to continue. Feel free to ask questions and submit your entry as soon as you can. That's all I can think of for now, please give this contest a go. Thank-you for reading and good luck DPers!
@getdomain4u - Just speaking with the client - she likes your design but would like to see a square instead of a circle. For inspiration, the client just told me that people with dyslexia are out of the box thinkers - she would like to see a design to reflect that is possible - she mentioned words similar to the round pic above put into a square or rectangle design and possibly coming out of the box. Thanks to all who have posted so far. Please keep entries coming.
The client is coming in today. I will have feedback here in the next few hours. Not so many designs to show them so please keep entries coming.
Sorry guys, got caught up with other stuff. @getdomain4u - I think, when the client wanted the words coming out of the box, she meant something like this. Please forgive my rough drawing but I'm not an artist haha. Entrants: The client appears not too impressed with any of the designs entered so far. I have printed them all out separately and asked her tolay them all out at home and consider each one carefully. In the meantime this contest is still wide open. Please enter.
I'm not sure what you mean. The OP says "proudly dyslexic, creative, visionary, intuitive, empathy, advocacy, awareness and action". Is this what you mean?
With so few logos to choose from, and nothing that they liked, the client has backed away from this contest and moving on. I am unsure why we got so few entries here, decent enough prize but not a well known subject possibly? Having run over 50 contests here this is only the second time we have been unable to satisfy a client so the odds are not that bad. Thanks to everyone who did have a go. I look forward to our next successful contest.
