    I was hired as a freelance advertiser for a foreign marriage agency and I don’t know what to do. This isn’t really my cup of tea but work is work. I have to be professional about this so here I am, asking for some tips. (LOL)

    I’m not very experienced in advertising women. I need some tips about the do’s and don’ts when marketing them. Can someone give me some tips regarding this? I don’t want to cross any lines or ethics when submitting my work. Much appreciated!

    I've been marketing a dating website for long and I can tell you that the best way to promote this kind of services, is to use facebook and instagram, and obviously email.
    The only problem with relationship services is that you have to be really careful with your images and messages. Facebook and Instagram are really hard on people who could cross the line with sexy images or vulgar copy.

    Keep it honest and promote the service on social media that are more... social! Avoid search engines and social media that aren't about create social bonds like Twitter for example.

    Other way that works a lot is to buy advertising spaces on related blogs or related podcasts. Search for popular websites that could be connected with your marriage agency and ask them how much it cost to have a banner on their space.

    As I always say, put in the shoes of your future clients, and hang out in the places they frequent.

    When it comes to dating sites promoti    on, there are traditionally recommended methods, like:

    - paid CPC (ad networks)
    - email traffic (spam is strongly forbidden!)
    - in-app advertising
    - social media
    - SEO (search traffic)
    - blogging
    - contextual ads

    And, of course, it's better first of all to ask your client (i mean this foreign marriage agency) what traffic sources they wouldn't accept.
