Dear all,

I have a new logo requirement for a client company.

The company is called:


It's a gaming laptop company. For the logo they want something very simple, that is not complicated in color and easily printable. (imagine apple logo is just one apple, printed on the phone etc). Feel free to explore transparent negative space design.

Logo should be shape of a spectacles/shades, yet squarish like laptop. You can also explore a laptop, with a rectangular shades/spectacles in it.


5 days contest.

There may not be a winner. But please submit your entries (with watermark). I'll let the client see. Whichever he likes, I'll pick it as the winner.

Logo should be available in illustrator vector format.

Greetings! Here's my idea

 

Mylene, the last 2 is quite good. But the first 2, the logo "ea" by itself, not too meaningful (I was thinking whether it was NG instead haha)

Still can try other variation if you want.

Not a bad entry, but the laptop design is a little bit too safe. (I can tell you tried to add in the "control" like play station etc, but actually the NG client is more like for gaming laptops etc. They specifically told me they want a nerd spectacle etc.

Concept is near right, but too simple and cartoony at the moment

 

The client made this reference to me when he was telling me about the logo that he wanted the logo to be very visible on printed version, same like how apple's logo is very easily printable (Not that for hard printing, flatter color is easier, and "more whole" instead of being too complicated.)



Main theme of the logo design is still a laptop with a shades, or a shades that is rectangular. Importantly is easily printable on hardwares and easily recognisable.
(Apple's logo is very distinct. From far you know it's an apple, very chrome, magnificent apple. But not just any other apple logo designed by other cartoons etc, when you see a small bit on the right side of the apple, then you know it's the apple company [Plus it's colorless usually])


Psy's logo actually came to my mind, but of course, no Psy, no hair. Rectangular like laptop also maybe.









For shades inspiration (For the "Nerd" concept, maybe a cool nerd. But take note, that they are not selling shades so also not too fanciful.)

Their competitor is Razor etc, but they don't want a logo too complex like Razor etc.

 

Too simplistic in my opinion. Probably need something more edgey. It's not playstation. It's gaming laptop also btw.

Quite good. This will be one version that I'll show my client along with other possible concepts. But if possible you may also want to try another one without "NG" letters totally

Yes, the file would be a solid color. I was just simulating a chrome print.
