    OK. Bin is $349.

Well...It's a question. This is true PR3, not fake (!) you can verify it here: SeoLogs

PR probaly will stay the same as current 3, but not sure.

And the main thing is that PR is just additional value of this domain name. Cause it's not so hard to achive PR 3. ;)

    Hello,

After a deal was made, domain transfered and money received, several days later (today) buyer has suddenly contacted me requiring to make him a discount for this domain because, as he told me, I have published wrong information regarding pagerank..

So, I want to make it clear!

All information were stated in my thread was published regarding on research using trusted online tools!

Before starting selling domain, I always check PR with this tool, it's good cause it can detect fake pagerank. Take a look here: http://www.seologs.com/pr-check/pagerank.html Type www.gigalink.net with www, not just http://gigalink.net Or you can try this tool urltrends.com (Sedo use) to verify current PR. So it's not fake PR!

I am not sure what the pagerank will be after pagerank update. But on the date of domain was sold valid pagerank was 3.

That is why it was stated in my thread that domain is PR3.

I have asked all buyers questions and requests, provided all info requested, and he made a decision to buy this domain.

I think it's not fair and it's not normal to ask for discount after agreement was made and deal finished, especially when all the info provided was true!

    Thanks,
    Bravo

    Not much difference really..

Went to the seller after a few days when as potential customer told me that it was showing up as Pr1. I checked it and it is so to on my toolbar. So I went to the seller and asked for a discount since the domain did not live up to the description.

So far he has been nothing but hostile though. So I am not holding my breath

If PR was a criteria for purchase didn't you check it first? Post #7 warned that the PR was due to drop.

I'd have thought you would want to reverse the sale totally rather than ask for a discount. After all you prevented the sale from continuing so we have no idea what the next offer might have been.

I mentioned both options to the seller, but he is not interested in letting the deal go back apparently.

    EDIT
I did use seologs to check it. But the google toolbar is not showing the same as seologs.. And in this case it is PR1 in the toolbar.

I would discuss any discount or offer when the sale was open, but not after the deal was finished. I am not able to go back.

I agree with Bravo here. If he didn't check the PR that is not grounds for a "discount".
The seller stated "PR probaly will stay the same as current 3, but not sure.
And the main thing is that PR is just additional value of this domain name. Cause it's not so hard to achive PR 3"

It's a domain name. Google controls the PR not the seller.

Due Diligence is the buyers resonsibility.

Now if traffic stats were manipulated via photoshop or the domain is stolen that's a different story.

Last, Pr 3 is easy to attain as the seller stated earlier. Put up a basic site and get some directory listings and you should be all set.

100% agreed, As he said Due Diligence is buyers responsibility and now after the sale is over i think its unfair to request discount :)
