Do you actually know what you're talking about, have you actually looked at the script in question, and have you seen what this guy is selling it as, no i didn't think so.

encrypts HTML code in seconds!
will protect your work!
can increase your profits!
Your Encryption Site is a rare & unique website that allows you to encrypt your HTML code!

None of that is true, not even a little bit, it doesn't encrypt anything, it won't protect anything, it will not increase your profits, and its certainly not rare, so yes it is a scam, he is selling something he doesn't have, thats a scam, no matter how you look at it.

Rubbish, it gives the idea that I swear in conversation and why shouldn't I.

We have been through this already, read the thread dumb ass, it is a scam, the thread should have been closed, and if the mods have enough time to hand out infractions then they have enough time to close a single thread.

I'm bored of this now, I tried to do a good thing, it didn't work, so I wont bother again.......I'm done ....

If I ask 10 people if they know how to block a HTML code from being stolen they have no idea. If I asked them if they want to buy my knowledge for 3 $ and i show them and give them the script. I do not think that is a SCAM.

People have been selling "post blog scripts" even if the blog post is a totally free item. People are also selling PHP forums but yet they are free.

Its not a scam, selling wares is and I have stopped many and never got any warning for it.

If you want to help look for that kind of stuff.

The script does no such thing, when all that's needed to "decrypt" these characters is :

unescape(string);

You CANNOT call it encryption, or secure, or protected, and it certainly won't stop thieves, these are FACTS not my opinions, but FACT.

You're purposely trying to complicate matters, god knows why, it's a simple as he's selling something that he doesn't have, that shouldn't be allowed, you can say it's not a scam untill the cows come home, but to anyone with even a little sense, or knowledge, it clearly is.

look, krakjoe is right here.

He did use some bad words and got an infraction.

He's more trying to prove a point then cost you guys more or anything like that.

I've known him for months, and he's more principal then anything.

Check the scripts he sells. Most are free and the ones that cost money are so cheap it's bullshit.

He's just trying to warn users that are being mislead.

and krakjoe, I though you did not believe in god : ]

...and then they did a group hug, wished each other a Merry Christmas, chuckled over what has been said and got on with their lives...

lol, alright.

Merry Christmas karkjoe, no hard feelings. I guess the point being made here is that policing every bad sale isn't possible, and some of the long time members here at DP, including me, are quick to jump to the mods defence.

My suggestion: if you see a sale like that, state the facts, don't get drawn into a useless war of words, and use the report function to have a mod look at the thread. Let them handle from there with the knowledge that they are all experienced and well-meaning, and will always do everything in their power to keep things as clean as possible here.
