Hey guys,

We have recently changed our website's look and we expect there have to be many mistakes which needs to be worked on.

We are trying to fetch good content which is niche specific and fetch target audience.

Please add your comments, suggestions and criticism which will help us improving our site.

 

Looks colorful and lots of information. However that being said, what is the website about? Content and information or for students to post articles? Not sure- you need a home page that describes what this website is to be used for. I read the meta tags and just not sure.

 

Site looks nice, seems to be a bit slow - you can go to gtmetrix.com and analyze your site for free - the analysis will give you recommendations on how to increase load speed. Also because I tend to notice these things, there is a missing "e" in the word strength in the quote in the right sidebar

 

@charmingvideos - Thanks for your review and all points have been noted. Actually the site is a resource blog for architecture students and aspiring designers. We are trying to change the look of the site and will come up with defined home page.
@Petrea Dishman - Thanks for suggesting a useful reference.

 

My two cents, that it has a messy navigation. You place all different menus in the main menu (website navigation, login options, etc.) Most themes are have divided menus to allow users recognise different type of content/actions.

And another one -- image source seems to be uncompressed and not optimized so loading time could be better (faster loading).
