    'Optimization' and optimisation are both correct. It is commonly 'optimization' used in the USA and 'optimisation' is used rest.

    "Optimize" is American spelling while "Optimise" is British spelling. British Oxford English Dictionary uses "ize" ending for most of the same words as American English. Commonwealth countries follow British English, although Canada follows American English spellings more closely. It is generally considered acceptable to use either "ize" or "ise" as long as you are consistent throughout the document.
