Registering business with multiple websites

    Hello DP nation,

    I intend to first register my ecommerce business as a sole proprietorship however it will have multiple websites. One is dedicated to Amazon FBA while the other would be an affiliate business.

    Is this possible to register it under one business name and indicate that it has two websites, or do I have to register each website under its own business name? What has been your experience. Thanks for sharing.

    One business name - we have over 200 websites and only one company.

    Just register under your name, or a business name of your choice.

    The only reason why some businessmen separate into different business entities is to avoid liability, but for that you have to set up separate legal businesess, so each one can be a corporation or LLC or partnership. Cab companies often set a different business for each cab to avoid liability.
