Contest $50 Logo Competition - Payment by Paypal on completion

Hi Everyone

Our client is launching a new branch of their business networking group. It will be the 100th branch and they really want to symbolise this by use of a symbol or text that makes it instantly recognisable that it is the 100th branch. It could be 100 in an imaginative way, maybe a centurion, maybe the word Century in an imaginative format, anything that will make the group's logo instantly recognisable to the other branches.

The client has no feelings on colour except the fact that the logo will sit on a light coloured background.

We require the logo in RGB colour scheme, however, will be eventually transferring this to products, so if the winner could agree to provide in CMYK too, that would be advantageous.

We will give regular feedback and will respond to every submission.

We guarantee to announce a winner of this contest by the very latest 16.00 Friday 23rd March, GMT, although we hope to be finished well before this time.

We require 100% original designs and the rights to legally use any font you use in your design.

We require the logo to be delivered as a multi-layered .psd file.

Upon payment to the winner, the designer will relinquish all copyright claims.

 

Come on guys, where are my submissions?

We want to see some designs for clients was hoping to give feedback. All we need is a logo that signifies 100. We are not too bothered if the designs come as psd or ai aslong as we have the unlayered version for edit.

Can people please let me know if they're going to submit so we know and don't have to pop over to other places such as fivr.

Hello Everyone, Thank you for your submissions so far I really appreciate your efforts. General Feedback - When I mentioned Centurion in the original brief, it was supposed to symbolise a roman gladiator style, not just centurion in text.

Getdomain4u - Client does not like the red and gold combo. He hadn't thought about a badge style but may consider it in other submissions, just not this one.
3SS - As above client not sure on the colour combo and also feels that this is to plain, not for him, sorry.
Remus94 - Likes the thinking outside of the box with the Latin, but does not like the execution, finds it ordinary.
Logos4all - Client sees what you were trying to achieve, but he finds it to mainstream.

The client was hoping for more submissions at this time, but thank you all for your efforts. We were hoping for distinctive typography, maybe an image incorporated, he doesn't mind simple but it must be striking and slightly different. Please get creative and give us something to submit.

Divineworld - Client does not want the 100 branches shown in the logo, or Centurion in text. He does not mind 100 or Century as part of the text but not the branches or centurion.
Altruist Design - Client is happy to see a Centurion but thinks that this is not for him. He would like to see Chapter instead of Group in any further submissions.
Keep them coming, let's give him some great entries so he has a decision to make.

 

To be clear, they do want a centurion but not this particular one? Did they say anything about the font?

Altruist Design -In response to your question I refer you back to the original brief "It could be 100 in an imaginative way, maybe a centurion, maybe the word Century in an imaginative format, anything that will make the group's logo instantly recognisable to the other branches" In further addition to the brief, the client does not want 100th, or Centurion, or branches in the design. He doesn't mind seeing entries with 100, Century or Chapter in the text or any other symbol that signifies 100 in an imaginative way.
Orlando M - Thank you for starting to think differently although the design is too subtle and not recognisable enough
noobdesigns - Client had already stated that he didn't like the red/gold combo and the figure in the image is not recognisable enough
Altruist Design - The font is better in this than your earlier submission but the gladiators head is worse. He does not want Centurion in text format.
Altruist Design - This is much more imaginative although the font appears to spaced out
Athisa - Not instantly recognisable
Getdomain4u - No th after the 100 and not corporate enough
3ss - Not instantly recognisable
3ss - Nice play on the brief, although client doesn't like the colour combo or the number font
