How to view someone's old tweets?

Discussion in 'Twitter' started by ElVandalo1, Jun 23, 2015.

Hello. Is there a possibility to view someone's (not mine) all tweets? And by "all" I really mean all because Tweetdeck and apps like Tweettunnel and Snap Bird allow me to go only to December 2012. I am able to view my favourite tweets from 2012 or 2011, so it means that they're still there, but somehow I cannot browse someone's account from the very beginning to the end.

    Regards.

Use the existing twitter search function.

    Format: from:username since:yyyy-mm-dd to:yyyy-mm-dd

After this is done you'll need to click "all tweets" as it will only bring up the top tweets from that person initially.

You can just scroll down and see the old twitter post of that particular account.

That'd take a while if the person was a prolific tweeter and you were looking for something in 2011 :)

This will take too much of time if there are tons and tons of tweets of the person.

Sounds like AllmyTweets (won't let me post the URL for some reason) is exactly what you are looking for. It lets you load all the Tweets from any Twitter user on a single page (not just your own). It's a great resource.

Bonus tip -> AllmyTweets is also a great way to find Twitter user's email addresses. After it loads just run Ctrl + F : “email”.

You can also try Internet Archive for deleted Twitter accounts. With it, you should be able to find old tweets without problems.
