Contest 80 USD "Sapphiro Mints" coin design - 7 days.

I'm reopening up this contest. 7 days.

I already created a new non-blockchain cryptographic currency called Sapphiro Mints.

Right now I need a coin design for it.




This is my actual company logo.

Shaped like a meteorite, with a planet ring, while the whole thing is actually like an antarctic ice.

For my coin design, it's called Sapphiro Mints.

1. Shape of coin can be rounded, or this shape:


Middle of the coin, should have my Sapphiro meteorite shaped logo. But can be embossed to make it more realistic. (Can also be colorless, or "blue gem" like the one below)

2. Sapphiro Mints coin, should have at least 2 colors. Silver, and the ice blue in my sapphiro logo. You can also explore with gold, like this:

(But my color scheme, I don't want it to follow the singapore dollar too closely, it's my own country currency. So try to avoid looking too similar, while taking in good elements.)


3. If the the coin is round shaped, then 8 edges as well, or completely "edgey" all around the circular coin. If the coin shape is releauxe shape I mentioned earlier, then it's fine. Personally I prefer odd looking shapes.

4. If there can be words added to the coin. I want it to be "Sapphiro Mints" in "texgyreadventor_bold" font for English. There should also be a chinese word. "非民币". (English word and Chinese word with a gap in between instead both appearing on a single line). The words should be curved together with the coin. (English wording can be bottom. Chinese mandarin word can be above. All words should be seen up-right, instead of being inverse directions)

OR "Conglomerate of Sapphiro" "Sapphiro Mints"

5. Someone designed this previously, very plain, but the emboss shape is something that can take note if needed.


6. For the shape of the coin, third option other than realuxe, rounded, it can also take the meteorite shape of my own Sapphiro logo, then the internal part of the coin you can have some creative freedom.

7. Logo must be available in .ai format. It can look a bit 3D, but I need vector. For actual 3D, I already have a designer in waiting, just need to finalised the actual 2D design of the coin.
(You can show the entry preview in 400 x 400 to 600 x 600 px.)

8. Optional: If the coin can have 2 sides, then it's even better. (e.g. What I wrote above; more space, front can have the meteorite emboss or crystalised logo, back of the coin can just write "Conglomerate of Sapphiro" etc.

9. You can consider putting in some "internet looking" wirelines to make the overall coin more sophisticated like it's a coin security feature. (I'm not going to really make offline coins for it. My Sapphiro aims to be a widely used internet currency)

10. The coin design should look good in both black and white backgrounds. (My own website's background is black color. I'll need it to look good in both.)

I only need the final product, so design contest entries can be inspired from each other. If there are some designs with different features that I like while the others don't, I'll let you all know accordingly (you all can decide and ask for each other's permission whether can cross-inspire each others design in between).

Your sample coins are mostly 3D rendered but you want 2D ai file, so you will get result similar to like this below which I tried.

Actually.. can also be 3D if you want, .ai is optional if you can produce 3D render.

For your entry. It's not bad, quite a standard coin design, but still not "wow" enough to win yet.

 

P.S.

Sapphiro Mints can also look like a plastic coin (don't have to follow metallic colors) if it's needed. I need the design more like a logo to represent the currency concept that I'm creating. Thanks a lot
