hello am working in a company. and th adminisrator has block some PC' in the network from gaining access to internet..probably using the IP address of those PC's i guess.

Eh, I suggest you spend your time working, not browsing the internet ;-) If the sys admin has blocked your internet access, it is for a reason, so don't risk your job! SY

Depends upon how your administrator has set-up the rules and how sneaky (experienced!) they are. There's a good chance they have only blocked your IP from connecting via port-80-out (lazy admin), so there are several alternatives available such as using a proxy on a different port, or remotely connecting to another PC or server that does have internet access, but you'd have to do a bit of exploring first to see if you can figure out what sort of rules they have applied, and the success of that would depend upon what sort of monitoring the admin has set up and whether you would be easily caught.

If you have physical access to any PC or server on the network that does have internet access then it would be relatively easy depending upon whether the BIOS is password protected (usually easily overcome) and whether you can boot the PC/Server from a USB, CD, or DVD but now your getting into the realms of doing something illegal just for the sake of accessing the internet.

At the end of the day, there may be ways to do it, but all of them will cause you to lose your job if your are caught.

As has already been said, when you're at work your time is better spent working, and be warned that if you do find a way around it you'll probably lose your job.

There is several ways to block the internet access but it depends on your network administrator the way he used. If you have a little idea about your company infrastructure then let us know..maybe I can help you out. If your company doesn’t have firewall or proxy then I can sure that he has blocked it on your local machine..And for this we just need to wipe out his configuration from system file which is very simple.

Let me know if you still stuck in this problem with network information.

Even if you can circumvent the restrictions, you might find yourself in serious trouble and risk your job. Better surf at home, I'd say!

If the administrator had blocked the internet access to your workstation, the only way to bypass the restriction is to buy a "present" to the admin :)).

If your admin blocked outgoing traffic, there is nothing you can do. You may check for alternative traffic; for instance, do you have have access to SSL ports (443, https://....) ?

It depends on how your adminisrator has blocked your network access. If he is a noob or a new player in this thing then you might gain access to internet through changing the settings of Wifi and/or your PC. If he is an experienced one then it may be a difficult job to do so. Then you have to get access to the main computer of the administrator to change the setting for your computer on the network.

School campus or office, whatever it be, you should respect the rules & restrictions. For the case of campus/library & college, such restrictions are imposed for better/smoother & fresher environment. In case of office, it's to increase productivity & to focus on work. So, you should respect it.

Best thing is not to surf the internet if the admin has blocked access to it. But if you want access the internet under compelling circumstances then use a Hot Spot and after use, erase the browsing history.
