I've heard from many people that they believe any linkbuilding is worthless. Instead, focus on content only and the links will come.

Link building is not dead. It is still one of the key factors to rank your site in search engine result page. The matter is how you manage it. Don't make link building as it looks like spammy. Create links from high authority website that are relevant to your niche.

Yes, Bookmarking, spammy link creation, link exchange, copy link content is dead!

No, Fresh unique link, links from authority sites, links from quality sites are still alive and serving their magic!

Link Building is not dead but the old and spammy ways to build backlinks are dead, not dead but not worthy. People said this because they are stuck to build quality links because quality links are hard to get and it is only possible with the quality, informative, useful, fresh and uniques content.

 

If you are proficient in creating content than Guest posting can help you to get quality backlinks from the high authority websites. There is a big misconception about Guest posting. But it is still one of the best way to get backlinks by providing quality content.

 

Try guest blogging or PBN's or broken link building. You will find it amazingly fine. So, its not dead.

Of course not. Those who think that link building is dead are those who cannot adopt to changes. Though lets admit most of link building techniques aren't really effective anymore.

 

I would say linkbuilding is far from dead, you just have to evolve your methods. Back in 2015 I was pushing out millions of links per day for my blackhat projects, these days this is probably 30-50 in a month and then I let them sit and age in over time then decide on my next move once a few month has gone by.

 

Whoever says its dead, just doesn't know how to do it and make it work.
Link building is still one of my best working SEO strategies.
