    You would have to to extremely active for sig links to work anymore...
    and if you are not active, then your posts end up at the bottom, and
    no one will see them anymore, and they will not help much on boosting DA...

    do not get me wrong; you should have diversity backlinks....
    over all, these type of backlinks are not as useful as in the past...

    you can do better then wasting your time....

    Unfortunately, except for Webmaster forums, no forum allows signature links. I have seen that.
    Better thing would be to switch on Quora and post answers related to your topic. Here, you can get hits.
