Why is the maximum traffic coming from San Francisco which I am not even targeting? Is there any changes in google analytic tag or what anything wrongs.I am not sure about this traffic.
Are you sure that the traffic which you are getting is real and not from some spam source? What is the bounce rate of that traffic?
Well because if you have organic traffic you cannot totaly control the traffic like facebook ads where you set your audience .Secrh engine optimization can get you traffic from dieferent places and i think most visitors come from san francisco
I have some questions: 1). Is the traffic paid or organic? 2). What is your site about? 3). Where is all the San Fran traffic going to? If you have Google Analytics, you'll be able to see which pages on your site is getting the most traffic. This will help better answer your question.
You can better analyze your traffic through Google Analytics and as @Jaromir_Jagr said, the page on which you are gaining traffic is your main source.
Keep in mind that google has headquarters in San Francisco... This also means google spiders come from San Francisco.... However, if you do not post any analytics, then it is nothing more then a vague question with vague answers.... Your original post implies you have no idea about the traffic...
We can't imply anything. The OP hasn't provided much information about the traffic. He just said its real traffic.
In his first post, he said he did not know... In another post, he said he did know... I am going to assume he doesnt know, and for all I know, it could be nothing more then bot traffic....
I think your business location is in san francisco. If you provide complete details about your business, then you can discover best solution about it. There are many things hidden in your query.
It is possible that may be your are using some keywords which are specific and most searched form san francisco
Hi, webmaster8757, Check your bounce rate first. If the bounce rate is high, block the spamming robots. Else, try searching for local keywords for your website. Try searching if your web page links are being shared by somebody in San Fransisco. There might be a possibility for the kind of traffic that you are saying is coming from San Fransisco. Regards
I purchased back links from someone and later i realized i am getting fake traffic and i had exactly the same problem
