    HI
    I am old user of this site and rarely create new threads depends on my needs
    now I have a serious question to all my online friends and community

    I am interested in a educational CMS system with the following characteristics or fulfill my requirement for my research experiment
    I am research student in a university and now i am researching on adaptive systems topics
    so
    i need a educational CMS that can gives me
    1. each user login intervals
    2. visited page time (stay time)
    3. facility to upload content (video and text )
    4. facility to control, create, and remove data, pages, users, and privileges
    5. free system and can be attached, embeded to open source database system like mysq
    the CMS must be free to use

    If you need to include tests and educational content then look at Moodle.

    I would recommend Moodle! Short for Modular Object-oriented Dynamic Learning Environment, Moodle is created for pedagogical purposes. You can modify it according to your personal expectations, it's open-source and it's free. My friend used it for her PhD research and I remember she was very satisfied!

    The learning curve for Drupal is somewhat steeper, but it will allow you to do everything you need.
