I was just wondering if any of you guys made money from clickbank within the first month of doing it?
I made money 4 months after signing up... baceause I wasn't promoting anything... I didn't understand anything about how I could make money with clickbank. But when I understood and decided to start affiliate marketing, I sold the very first month.
Yup ive joined clickbank long time never really spent the time looking at it till now im back on readin some info and hope to make few extra bucks
It's easy to promote products through clickbank. My sites now make few sales every night. They do make some extra bucks, but not too much. The problem is that advertising costs are huge. I am now working on a system that will help me reduce these costs using Clickbank's new tracking feature.
Wow really makes a guy feel like he shouldnt bother after reading that. LOL hopefully i have better luck then some have.
with the current CB iffyness regarding sales volume fluctuating it will probably take you longer. Read the threads on the next page if you don't know what I'm talking about.
I just got registered and the first impression is not realy good!! all the advertisers are not of high standrads like cj.com and tradedoubler!! I will give it a try and seee what happens! Cheers Stelios
Stelios, clickbank is just totally different to tradedoubler and cj.com - they sell ebooks only & they are damn good at it (my opinion)
it depends.. you can find out which products sell the most and you can advertse them with your affiliate
But then you face strong competition and expensive ppc! If you pick less popular products, then you have low advertising costs... I don't know if that works actually...
yep.. got my first sale on first day... using adwords and methods that are not new... i think projectx is a good read
It's really about going around obstacles... For instance: High Gravity/popular product: PROS: Sells well, converts well to targetted audience. CONS: Strong competition/expensive PPC costs. Remedy: Find other PPC words that don't cost a truckload, thus costing less and getting more exposure. Use a landing page to convert so you don't have to out-bid the top paying advertiser for the merchant's URL, as well as getting more PPC exposure. Low gravity/popular product: PROS: Little Competition/Cheap PPC Costs CONS: May not convert well/be harder to sell. Remedy: Find strong PPC words that relate well to your audience. Again, use a landing page to convert to help pre-sell the audience to increase your chance of a conversion. Ultimately, do the research. Do/Can/Have/Will people who are interested in this type of product pay for what's offered? Ultimately, if you know the tricks, you should be able to break into any niche, test the waters a bit, find the selling points, and make a profit
