Best way to transfer domains between two non professionals

    I located a domain I want to buy and could you some advice on the steps to safely, for both, make the transfer of money and the domain do nobody gets burned.

    What steps should be taken to make a transfer and how can it be done relatively safely?

    If your seller is genuine then you can use namecheap, godaddy. Just buy domain trnsfer service, add authorization code. They will send email to domain owner and they need to approve domain transfer.

    GoDaddy transfer service is for transferring a domain from another registrar to GoDaddy. It's no guarantee it will be done. You could pay the seller and they refuse the transfer. As ilg mentioned, Escrow.com is the best. They will hold the money until the domain transfer is completed.
