- 4% Payout when selling 1-6 Products Per Month = $1.20 Payout-Per-Sale

(Eww. $1.20 per SALE isn’t worth getting out of bed for.)


- 8.5% Payout when selling 3131+ Products Per Month = $2.54 Payout-Per-Sale

(You have to sell 104 units per DAY just to make it to this payout level. Even then, $2.54 per sale is just plain insulting.)

- Payouts are Net 90.

(If you’ve ever waited for Amazon Affiliate payouts, you know it’s a LONG TIME! You can go broke waiting that long to get paid…)

- If you’re like me, you’ve just about given up on Amazon Affiliate links. The products convert great, but the commission percentages are HORRIBLE and the payouts take so long (1/4 of a YEAR!?!) that you forgot you even made a sale when the money finally hits your bank account.

I don't believe anyone is really doing it. Until I see some URL's instead of "screen shot" proof, I'm calling BS on anyone that claims to be doing $1,000 a month steadily from AA aside from say Problogger.net, which I've seen done in action several times. Everytime I ask for URL's people start getting really quiet, so what's up? I have a site, http://scaryfilm.blogspot.com with hundreds of reviews, links and more, and can barely pull $15 a month steadily from Amazon.

 

I think with paid ads like banners or video reviews are more convert to get sales.

I apologize for the random intrusion but this site was the first to pull up. How popular is the Amazon affiliate program now days? Long ago in my teen years I made an Amazon CMS system. Unfortunately I had some issues at the time with family members wanting to control the project and I abandoned it. I recently fired up an old copy and it's mostly working and would only need a few tweaks for it to be completely working. I'm thinking of re-launching it as a free and open source project.

It has a ton of features such as:

• One click installation of themes
• Able to use many wordpress themes with no modification (Wordpress has matured significantly...current themes probably wouldn't work too well as it is)
• Extensive plugin system (wordpress plugins are semi-compatible), plugins are able to modify most behavior. An example plugin I wrote would automatically pull relevant youtube videos and insert them into item pages.
  
• A sub-scripting system similar to MarkDown.

I would want to monetize. One option I'm considering is establishing a reseller account for hosting the CMS. Pay $6 to $10 a month and you'll be able to host an unlimited (still need to do the math) amount of domains running the CMS system. The CMS system would be automatically installed for all of your domains (and hopefully updated automatically as well).

What are your thoughts?

I made $10 from it last month. I've noticed that it's incredible difficult to turn a profit now.

 

This is how I do it.

I go for Amazon Best sellers and create video review of the product.

Even without the product in hand you can do this very effectively, and easy rank the video on Google.

So lets say each video makes you $5 a day, how many videos would you create?

I earn 125+ a day as an Amazon Affiliate doing this.

Granted it will take time and some work hours, but it´s still easier than creating review blogs.

the best way I learned affiliate marketing was to buy a pre-made site with affiliate links already in it. then I reverse engineered the setup.
