You get the strong link from high authority article sites like ezinearticles but Google does not value them because the motive of article sites is to generate the lots of articles on the same topics, they provide the signature section in last of the article and Google doesn't entertain the signature link anymore.
But some people said links from articles sites are good for ranking, hope so. But I don't think the same.
