I generate XML sitemap of a website and found 10,000 url's its right or wrong. Please tell me how many url can be a website.
There are some websites have infinite numbers of links but I am using The XML Sitemap to find number of pages in a website..
There is no particular limit for the URLs as it depends upon the website category. If it is e-commerce website then it should be a normal number of URLs.
There is no limit for the URL's. It depends on the category of your website. You can take the example of Amazon it has millions of pages. So, don't get worried about it.
You can put 10,000 to 50,000 in the XML sitemap. It depends upon the scale of the sitemap of a website.
There is no such limitations of URL in website. E commerce website have many of dynamic URL which is generated every time the new product get inserted to the CMS.
As many as you need. I have seen people that say one should limit URLs on a single website page to 100 URLs, however, my site is indexed just fine with over 2000 URLs on my main page. Sitemaps, as noted above, DO have a limit - 50,000 URLs per sitemap.
Also, all of the URLs that come up in sitemap scanners aren't individual pages, either. Probably most of them are direct links to images. Also, depending on the platform you use for your site, there's usually a "search-engine-friendly" version of the URL and direct URL. But, like others are saying, don't worry about how many you have. Usually, the more you have the better (but I'm not telling you to create a million bad or "thin" pages ).
See big sites they have archives since 2003 and 2006. they can have infinite links. So there is no limits
There is no limits; if your website is eCommerce website then too many pages you need to create. so don't worry about it.
