Define "some good response"? Are you bringing in as much or more than you're bringing in from your day job? If not, then don't quit yet. Wait for when you are consistently earning that amount or more for a few months. Then quit and give it your all to grow it even faster.

How long have you been at it? If its been over a couple of years and things are still good, by all means! Quit! But if its just been a few months, dont. Trends change together with the seasons. Learn all the ups and downs.

Keep your day job and stabilise your online income . Starting up a business is great but take it one step at a time.

Never ever make the mistake of doing that, UNLESS –

You have a fortune stashed away in your bank account.

The reason I say this is because,

It takes a lot of time to make money online.

    Most people who come online

    In search of making money

FAIL AND GIVE UP – as making money online is VERY TOUGH!

Forget about all the ads you see

Promising you that you can make a fortune overnight –

    They are all fake.

It takes a lot of time and trouble

    To make money online.

    So, stick with your job...

Work on making money online –

A couple of hours each evening

After you get back from work.

    All the best.

Quitting your full time, permanent job straight off sure is a NONO.
    Unless -
    Is your new business profitable?
Is your new business bringing in a consistent revenue stream?
If you really want to ditch your job, maybe ask to go Part Time hours so you are still getting a base pay and then any money that you make on the website/business will top this up?

Basically - don't rush into anything.

Don't quit the job soon because it might be risky to meet success.once you can earn better than the day job then you can of course quit the job.

how many years of experience do you have on your current job?
I think you should have minimum 3 years of experience before you quit to get online stability.

I would keep your day job and work your affiliate business on the side until you start building a nice income. Steady runs the race ;) It takes some time to build a successful online business.

Always make sure you have a source of income before you cut out your main source.

Play it safe at first, if and when you have the customer base which allows you to earn a decent wage for yourself - then go for it.
Why not even drop down your hours with your job? and do both until it gets busier? - that's a thought
