For a new guy to SEO the article is a great souce of tips to help you get into SEO. For a veteran, it may be causing your eye lids to get heavy as you read over it.
Sorry, it's just basic and I've been doing this for so long, that I forget that it may be new to a lot of folks. I think the collective knowledge here at DP is much higher than the other forums so the basics seem, well basic I'll try to lighten up
I agree, I really am tired of these negative nellies always critizing those who are sharing content. All your negative coments do is make it less likely for others to post good content for fear of getting critical comments. We all lose when that happens.
Hey, not to tell my age, but I've been in the business world for 40+ years, my skin is thick, thick, thick.
I think the problem is that the original poster in this thread, pcdoc, just posted a title, and excerpt and a link as if it was some great revelation in the SEO world. There was no explanation, no nothing. Had he said "hey, I just found this and thought it might be useful for beginners..." then it would never have been and issue. There are so many new posters coming in here and posting spam in a very similar manner that on it's surface, it looked like a spam post and that's why I came down so hard.
"Sounds like you were in the business before the internet was." Yep, cut my (programming) teeth on an IBM mainframe, JCL, RPG, Cobol, etc. etc.
