Why is HDFC bank deducting AMB charges?

True the AMB charges are ridiculous. But everyone needs a private bank service as national bank services are still not upto the mark, Im talking about after hours and our daily day today uses. Is there a solution .
And Yes HDFC is imposing charges for third party cash deposit. Its better to go digital, I guess this is what its leading upto.

 

Average Monthly Balance (AMB) Requirement. Rs 10,000 (Metro / Urban branches) Rs 5, 000 (Semi-Urban / Rural branches)
if you are a preferred customer then they don't require you to maintain a monthly balance for savings account not for current

If you do that then entire fixed deposits of your other banks will be freeze instead. that's what I read in Readers Digest Magazine as its happened with an elder person of ICICI Bank New Delhi when he complained to banking Ombudsman.
Private banks are better than corrupt Govt banks like State Bank of India which will vanish your Fixed Deposits also from your account or stop paying interest in Fixed Deposits. Better stay with Private Sector banks as Public Sector banks are full of senior employees taking bribes to pass loans and they never gets fired from job which is major problem.
