But what about the other websites which have low DA or PA? Do they help in getting traffic onto your website or in SEO? And also I want to ask if you submit the same URL twice or thrice on the same website? Does it affect the ranking or the authority of your website?

Even if you think social media is worthless, then do it in order to show google you are being talked about...
you can not go from zero to hero in just a few days, and it is rare for a site to go zero to hero, but it does
happen. If for no other reason, do social marketing as a startup to show google you are active....

Even though social media has zero SEO advantages; Social media maybe included in the 100s of
factors that google uses in order to determine if you deserve to be online. If you have a new site, then
it may be a red flag to get high profile links, and google does not see any social signals leading to your site.

part worthless, however, having a few bookmark backlinks may not
hurt you as long as it is part of your link portfolio, and the same goes
for directories, they are worthless on their own, but would not hurt if
you had a few directory backlinks; just do not let anyone type of backlink
consume your overall link profile, and you should be fine.

I know some people refuse to get no-follow links, which is a mistake...
google wants to see a diversity in your backlink profile, so if you are
only getting do-follow links, then this could be seen as a red flag, and
would not look very natural as your backlinks should have diversity.

ie: dofollow, nofollow, niche, non-niche, etc....
It simply would not be natural for a site to get niche and dofollow
links all the time, but the site is not getting any other type of backlinks....

It may or may not; This really depends on the authority of the site
you plan to send spam links too. It maybe easier to take out newer
sites, however, sites with authority and trusted by google will be difficult,
and if the owner is monitoring for spam links, and disavows them, then
your spam efforts may not make much difference anyways...

 

I agree with you. Social Bookmarking may not help directly but with great followers base it can work great in order to get proper brand awareness.

But I don't think that Google wants to see diversification in our link profiles. As long as the links are relevant and natural I don't think that there is a problem.

 

what is really "natural" anymore?

Every site out there is getting backlinks anyway they can....
If you were to wait in order to actually get "natural" backlinks,
then you maybe waiting for years, and it very well may take years....

I guarantee you the competition is not sitting on their ass waiting
for "natural" backlinks to come about; they are out there cutting
throats and kicking ass in order to get to the next level....

diversity is key; proceed however you wish....

Still bookmarking matters, but only change is that now just to do bookmark is not enough, we should work for our account regularly. Like we should connect others member so that they also like and share our post and vice versa...
