hello I have website 0911.biz It works on opencart 2.x I changed the engine, the site lost traffic and it stopped selling. Tell me what I need to do. And how best to analyze it. Probably need to buy ssl certificate. Where there are errors on the site, write new texts. Thank you for your responses
You appear to be targeting the English speaking world. However, the English on your site SUCKS, turning off many would-be buyers. First impressions DO count, and my first impression is that you are customer un-friendly since you scramble the customer's brains with your English. As a result, I and many more like me, would NEVER be customers of yours for fear of getting stolen from.
nskmobyl, I recommend that you hire someone who speaks English as his native language. Have that person write all your copy. A poster above put it bluntly but accurately. If you are trying to reach an English-speaking audience, your copy must "sound" good to their ears. This is an absolute must and is a primary reason for the failure of many websites written by authors lacking good English and grammar skills.
You said about SSL. I guess you didn't buy certificate. So every modern browser will show a banner that your site is not trusted. For users it is a big red flag, especially if you are selling something. English is important, but for most people English is not native, I don't think it will be bad for all users. I think it is because of certificate. It cost around $50 per year, but you have to buy it.
First of all I would like to tell your website doesn't have good UI and not having relevant information. There is nothing concerned with SSL about ranking! all you have to do is taking care of user's interest and providing them service based on their interest. I would like to suggest you focus on UI and content part of the website and then proceed with off page.
You mean search engine where you are promoting? It may be that your target audience is not there. I'm impressed you got sales from your site's current state. Please work on the "texts" or the descriptions as you are trying to introduce Russian products to English-speaking audience which is already hard enough to understand their labels.
