    Reddit is very hard to use for selfpromotion. At first you need karma ( Reddit Points) and you really need a lot of them for a good reputation

    Don't promote your links. If you have to promote your link then first of all make a group of redditors and post for other redditors who will in return post for you. This is how you can go and that could also work if you find the right subreddits. So the important two steps are make a group of 40-50 redditors and find the right subreddits.
