Google will abandon the actual captcha system (typing words, click I am not a robot or clicking images) as they have created a new algorithm that will work out webite's users behaviours.
What will happen to those who get paid for solving captchas?? hahaha just kidding! Anyway, I'm interested more on the algorithm..
I believe that the only change would be that the new reCaptcha would simply only include the check box "I'm not a robot" one.
not even, it's already in place actually, 2 sites I am using daily still have the button but no more images to click
Ya, true that the invisible recaptcha solve the issue of manually click the not-robot checkbox. However, it will still prompt images for selection for authentication if suspicious behavior found. Too bad, still can't get away from image challange.
Tendency??? You MUST be lucky. Google captcha is the WORST captcha ever invented. IT NEVER WORKS and gets into an INFINITE LOOP every time. Now, whenever I encounter it, I bounce off the page and go somewhere else. I WOULD BE EXTREMELY EXCITED to see its demise. I could then use Fetch-as-Google which CANNOT be used by me now because of that TERRIBLE captcha.
Yeah, I could get about 5 to 7 infinite loops in a day with captcha when I'm doing some IM. I'll just change the user agent of the browser in use to deal with it
I am glad that the captcha validation is gone. It really irritates me to contact web master or anyone on the website because you need to fill-up the captcha form before you could proceed to your transaction and it really frustrating and sometimes you don't understand the words lol. Being this said, on our website revamp for , Electrical Switchboards Manufacturers we don't recommend to put captcha validation on our form.
Hmm, I'm curious why you cannot use the Fetch-as-Google because of the captcha. I hate the miserable captcha, but I use Fetch very frequently and have never once had a problem with it — other than having to use the captcha in the first place!
