    I am just curious if people use Web2.0, and if so, why?

    I am not sure why I would want to waste my content on Web2,
    and right now, I really can justify using good content on Web 2.0

    I know one thing is fact...
    I have yet to run into a Web 2.0 on
    any of my searches, and I would say that I have
    done alot; Only when I search for web20, then I
    may find some related web2 links come up....

    What is the usefulness of Web2.0?

    Some of the advantages of web 2.0:
    1. Good quality of images and video can also be shared.
    2. Easy to share lots of information simply sitting at home.
    3. Opportunity to know different people staying around the world. Connect them. Share with them.
    4. Free of cost for sharing your info online.
    5. Allows people to participate in discussion and forums to share their views and ideas.
    So it is not waste of your content on web 2.0. It is actually useful.

    Web 2.0 sites are authority sites and building your web 2.0 profiles means you have a profile under a domain with high authority. That is one reason why people build web 2.0 sites. They are easy to set up and you can have multiple profiles according to you needs.

    In case of Tumblr (High PR website in Search Engines): You can share your best content, links, images, videos to gain interaction and traffic to your websites and blogs. I prefer using Tumblr for website which I want to rank high in Search engine.
