Does Popunders decrease traffic site?

Hi,
I have noticed that after using popunder on my site,my traffic has decreased while my content and my links are being shared as same as always.
So does the browsers send warning to users no to open the site or something like that?

 

If you are using an ad network that promotes campaigns with malware this is very possible. This also affects your Google position and Alexa ranking. You can check your website against virustotal.com from time to time.

 

Thank you for your response.How should i find that a campaigns is unclean or not?May i send you the popunders which are working on my site so you tell me if they are clean or not?

 

Use a VPN client to change your IP address into something from US or CA. Most malware campaigns target tier 1 locations. Then go to your website with your US IP and click a couple of times to see which ads are triggered. A free VPN client is hola.org.

You need to delay your pop ads timing between clicks and cap the ads. For example: 2 ads every hour with a delay of 220-400 seconds between the two ads so it won't run away visitors. I'm not sure if propeller offers the option to do so but other ad networks work perfectly fine. I've seen great CPMs doing just that and my visitors actually were more engaged and increased overtime.

In this case @Carmen Mueler was probably right. I prefer AdMaven, their ads are much cleaner.

 

in general , the visitors don't like much ads on the website.
