Contest Logo contest - $40 1st prize - 2 prizes - 7 Days - Instant Paypal

Hi DPers, busy times for logos here in Australia! Yet another logo contest from me, this one is a graphical element suitable for an electrician.

I think this contest will prove extra worthwhile for you to enter because there's so many electrians out there and if my client doesn't choose your design you can still add it into your portfolio where there's a good chance of selling it later on to another electrian. In fact you may already have a suitable logo you created for someone else? I don't mind a re-hashed logo, as long as it is your original artwork.

This business is named after the owner, a fully licensed electrician who does all types of electrical work from wiring houses and cabling to installing power points, air conditioning and stoves etc.

This client is after a simple graphic element logo design to professionally brand his company with. Emphasis is on 'simple' but I also like 'clever'. The logo will be used for his stationery, on their web site, advertising and sign boards so needs to be resizable.

When asked about his preferred colours he said his last logo was black & white, which he liked, but he is not stuck on colours so feel free to submit whatever looks good to you.

I'm after a layered PSD or AI format. Prefer PSD.
It will need to be vector to resize without loss of quality.

RULES:
All entries must be original design, no clipart, and needs to be sent to me in layered PSD, AI or similar format.
All entries must be submitted in this thread.

Once a winner has been chosen and the winners have been paid the winning designer agrees to hand all rights to the design over to my client. The winner may use their design for their own portfolio.

PRIZES:
I'm offering two prizes for this one, first prize of $40 AUD & second prize of $20 AUD. From previous experience the winning entry will be the one used. If the client decides he wants to use different components from 2 different designs then both entrants will share the first & second prize, ie; $30 each. If this occurs I will throw in an extra $10 for the first prize winner to redraw the compilation.

LENGTH:
This contest will remain open for 1 week and will close next Monday, depending on the entries received, I will present the entries to the client and choose the winners. Please get your entry in as soon as possible. If no design is suitable to the client after next Monday then only the contestants who have made an effort and submitted a design will be able to continue.
