Hi DPers, firstly a big thank you to everybody who entered. It's a real pleasure being able to present my client with so many entries to choose from, and as expected they liked most of them, a few they liked slightly more than others.

I printed out and have presented all entries and they're going to study each one over the weekend then get back to me with the winner(s) on Monday.

Here's the feedback so far...

@Kic3: The client really likes your entry #25 a lot. Would like to see the red / crimson in black with the orange, and another with the crimson turned black and the orange in grey.

@kavo0o0o: The client loves your logo design #27. They would like to see the crimson done in black (just the logo part).

@watari: The client also likes your design #35 with the accordion background.

@ayyad02: The client likes the way the black stood out in your entry #22.

From our discussion I think they'll be choosing a combination of #25 & #27. I created a few alternative combinations of these entries for them to ponder over the weekend.

This contest is now closed to new entrants. Existing entrants may change or submit alternative designs before Monday.

Hi entrants, just to keep you in the loop. I have contacted the client but he is currently away on a road trip. We have an appointment here tomorrow and I will be finalising the winners with them then. Thank you for your patience.

 

Hi entrants, just another update, the client has rung to say he's been inundated with work and can't make it in today. We have another appointment set for Monday and I have stressed the importance of finalising the winners by then at the latest. Again, sorry for the delay.

 

Hi again entrants, sorry to keep you waiting. I've had a phone conversation with my client and there are 2 entries he really likes so what i'm going to do is award first and second prizes now and wait until Monday after our appointment to announce the final 3rd prize winner.

The 1st and 2nd prizes will be split two ways; $45 AUD & $35 AUD.
The 1st prize winner will need to redraw the logo below in vector format, which is why they get the higher amount.

The two winners I can announce now are @Kic3 and @kavo0o0o! Congratulations!

And this is the final design we came up with;

This is a combination of @Kic3: entry #25 and @kavo0o0o: entry #27 with a little tweaking done by me after talking with the client.

The first one of you to say you will do the redraw and send me the files in vector format will get the $45AUD prize. (please do this in this thread)
The other prize winner will get the $35AUD and no files will be required.
If you both can PM me your Paypal details I will pay prize money tonight.

Thanks again to everyone who submitted. They were all great designs and are still in the running for the 3rd and final prize of $20AUD which I will announce here on Monday.

I do have another contest to run and will be putting details up within 24 hours. Please keep your eyes out for that one too.
