Noindex and robots disallow

    Hello Everyone,
    I just wanted to confirm with you experts.

    If a site has a "noindex" meta
    And a robots.txt that says
    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /

    This will prevent indexing CORRECT?
    And basically prevent any chance of organic placement?

    I just need this confirmed if possible.

    Yes whatever you wrote is correct.
    Remember
    Disallow: / ==> this will disallow all robots to crawl and index. so will not allow website appear in SERP.
    'no index' ==> even though it can crawl the page, it cannot add the page into its search index.

    It will prevent decent robots from indexing, yes. Rogue robots that disregard robots.txt and/or meta-tags won't give a damn.
