    Hello friends.
I am having a big issue related to my website.

From last 1 or 1.5 months my traffic is dropping slightly day by day.
As you can see screen shot of my wordpress.

Daily 100 to 300 visitors are decreasing. I also checked semrush and found that my serp are also decreasing. Keywords for which I have ranked are going away from its position.

    What should I do ?
What may be the cause ?

2 days got message in google analytics about redundant hostnames and I done a proper solution to it.
    Now my status is pending.

There is no message in google webmaster tools in manual actions.

I got message in google analytics that redundant hostnames are there.
    So I solved it.
Yesterday some of my traffic increased.

But how can I get my ranking back ?
Google was crawling my websites 2 version. With www and non www.
My default is www so I filtered non www to www in google analytics by which my redundant hostnames problem solved.

Have you any other solution or how can I get my ranking back ?

You should have to use only one at a time www or non www. If you are using both of it than it will consider as a duplicate content.

You can use 301 redirects from example.com to www.example.com. www has a technical advantage and hence its recommended to use

Ethan there are a lot of reasons why your rankings might be dropping, and I truly want to help you with this but we are not getting enough info on this (and we don't know your website to check it out ourselves, I wouldn't share it). I was thinking this might be a google dance but your ranking is steadily decreasing, so scratch that off the list. One reason might be that a good backlink has been removed, another one might be that a bad one has been added. I would assume duplicate content like they are saying above, but if that was the issue you would get a penalty first and your rankings would drop in a second.

If you can provide more info so we can help out more.

Create a small social media buzz, promote it on Facebook for few days boost likes and comments up on pages, if your site has no warnings from Google then this should move you back, I look at it as your basically just reminding Google that your content/products are still good!

    Hope this helps

There are a lot of reasons why it may be dropping, but most probable are:
    1. You updated it prior to the droppping. However, it will recover again, but it may take 2 weeks to 2 month, depending on intensity of change
    2. Good backlinks fell out
    3. Some backlinks emerged as spam
    4. some spam backlinks came.
    5. You updated too long ago

    Troubleshoot:
    1. Get MOZ trial version to run an audit on the spam backlinks and disavow them.
    2. Use Ahref trial version to see whether a good backlink fallen out prior to the dropping, and replenish that backlink.
    3. Add a few quality words into content.
