Rule for advertising another site with a forum?

    Hi,

    Is there a rule against ads that promote a website with a forum in the area of business/marketing etc? Would this ad be denied as it would be classed as a competitor?

    Best thing to do is submit the ad and see. I can't guarantee an ad will be approved without seeing it, but the site having a forum has no bearing on it.

    Just to be clear, we are talking about banner ads, right?

    Yes banner ads. It would be marketing an article driven site which also has a forum to join, It's very focused on business and making money. When I'm ready I'll submit my ads and see how it goes. Thanks for the response :)

    Well like I said, a site having a forum or being a competitor has absolutely no bearing on ad approval at all. As long as the ad isn't porn, spam, etc. you'd probably be fine.
