    Hi,
I think there should be a section where other users can post if they have been scammed by some member here..As alot of members are making these type of threads..Some in GC..some in Sites section..So there should be some proper section for this. What do you think?

Nah... it's been discussed before and giving people a specific place to rail on other people isn't a good idea IMO.

Pretty useful suggestion there Saad - something like "Scammers Alert" would be good. But it might even be mis-used by some.

I agree with you Saad, yes there should be some section named as "Preventing Scamm" or "Scam Prevention" etc... It will help new and existing members to get rid of those scammers.

Yep, only users with 50+ posts should be allowed to post and there should be some requirements for posting there..Although i agree..newbies might abuse this section :(

I think it would probably create more problems than it would solve. False accusations, stories being misrepresented etc. At the end of the day it would all be quite pointless as it is very difficult to actually prove anything on the internet anyway.

A quick search on the user id would be a good step in the right direction before making any deals over the net.

I made a guide on protecting yourself in the B/S/T board here.

    Hope it helps!

I agree, but the threadstarted does have a valid point.

Alot of people are using DP as a market place.

If you start a scams section, it could easily be misused.

I guess this topic could take on some more thought as what can be introduced beyond the itrader.

Meanwhile, I guess the buyer can take precautions before making a purchase. And if the deal does go sour, try to mutually resolve it or bring it to the attention of the payment processor.

How about we have a thread in buy sell and trade or somewhere else where people can post how they got scammed and from what user. Some rules for that can be, you cannot post or call any one scammer until you provide enough proof to support your claim. Or how about a yet better suggestion, we have a Mod or someone who asks questions in the sales thread which seems fishy and confirm that everything is legit we then wont even need that thread or section. Like DP Investigation Bureau :D:D lol

I think better would be to have a forum for:

    Fraud and Abuse

    Description could be something like:

IMHO, I agree, that we should not have a forum for individual attacks... as at times people go overboard only to realize that there was a communication gap and so on..
