I'll be in Hong Kong and Thailand the end of this month. Can anyone who lives in either place recommend things to do, places to see and places to eat? I'll be in each country for 5 days. I'll be traveling with the girlfriend none of that dirty dirty stuff!! :D

Well I'm not from thailand either but I heard that Saranrom Park is beautiful. This park was originally a royal garden in the Saranrom Palace. :D

    Pattaya, Phuket are good places.

You can go to tiger safari and snake parks in pattaya. Walking street is pretty good too in Pattaya.

Cowboy street in pattya is good. Grace is a nice night club in bangkok.

Do not lurk away at Pattaya though, there are some things there that you won't want to get into.

If you want to do the touristy stuff - Go to Lantau Island - take the cable car up (around 25 mins) to Tian Tan Buddha.Victoria Peak at night, Wax Museum maybe? It's at Victoria Peak. And Disneyland? But it's really small. There's the Avenue of Stars (palm prints of the hk movie stars etc), go there around 8pm (not really sure bout the time) for the symphony of light stuff.

Maybe go over to Macau (plenty of casinos and try the Portuguese egg tarts!) and Shenzhen too?

I'm not from HK but i was there last month.

What types of Food do you guys like Kevinn? I can give you a few HK suggestions if you need.

I'd love to meet up but I am on a contract in Macau at the moment and only pop back to HK maybe once a week.

Knutsford terrace is quite a nice place if I remember correctly ...its got a row of restaurants and bars... If you're into drinking .. you'll proabably need to pop over to Lan Kwai Fong on hong Kong Island.

If you like beach, Phi Phi island is a must go in Thailand. Also don't forget to try the elephant trekking. It's a great experience.
