Contest $50 Logo/Banner 48hrs...

NOW Upped to $75 Prize!!! and End Date Extended to Wednesday 26th October, 7pm Central European Time.

Hi again everyone, okay this latest one is for a Group, we used to be called "The Hard EOD Cafe" and the new name is "The Black Powder Guild" I would like something very relevant, the lettering in Ye Olde English Font to reflect this being like an ancient Guild.

Everyone in the Guild works with or has a background in Explosives such as Military EOD etc; I would like it to reflect Gun Powder of an earlier period and to have a dark look to it, the Logo Banner will be used as our main Timeline Header in Face Book and I will also make some Challenge Coins out of it. Think of the Guy Fawkes Gun Powder Plot or the origins of Gun Powder i.e. in 9th Century China but it needs to have a great feel to it and apt for anyone working in the Explosives Industry... it needs to have the look and feel of a Medieval Guild.

Okay so the main wording "The Black Powder Guild" in good Bold Olde English font and also "Founded 700 AD" below somewhere...

 

Really liking these so far, but looking for something a little more sinister, think of the Gun Powder Plot and Guy Fawkes maybe, and possibly the Founded 700 AD on a Red Wax Seal within the design somewhere?

Both of the designs so far are good, what is needed though is the design within the banner to be also able to be put into things like Challenge Coins etc; so needs to be more of a Logo within the Banner, to do with Gunpowder, and if possible the Founded 700 AD on a Red Wax Seal within the design, example in the image of an Old Seal.

Thank you John, it is a little cartoony, I need something with a professional sinister look that can be the Logo of the new Guild for Explosives workers of which I have outlined above, I'll be looking at using the Logo/Header in Challenge coins etc; also so it needs to be good... Thank you for submitting a design though...

 

I will be looking at making Membership Cards, Challenge Coins, using the Logo as the Header in the Group Timeline on Face Book etc; for that reason I am now increasing the Prize to $75 to hopefully encourage some great designs to come forward. Think of a Medieval Guild for those in the Explosives Trade, it needs to look the part with a bit of a Ye Olde feel to it... I will increase the Competition by another 2 days so Wednesday Evening 7pm Central European time... Thank you to everyone so far for participating...

 

WIll there be any more entries before Wednesday, otherwise looking to close the competition as I still haven't received a design based on what I have outlined above and may close it soon if no more designs are coming forward?

Remember it needs to be The Guild Logo/Crest, Olde looking, to do with Black Powder and that can then be used for a number of things such as Challenge Coins, letter headers, Crest for a T-Shirt etc; I know it isn't straight forward but know you have great artistic minds that usually come up with great designs
