Server stuck when booting, cant continue to centos/hdd

    my server is ibm x3250 m4

    the datacenter says its stuck when booting few hours ago, cant continue to centos/hdd

    what do you think the problem? if you have guess please let me know, any answer is appreciated

    i will go to the datacenter 6 hours again, maybe change the hdd or the entire server

    already go to the datacenter, so the problem: in bios > booting options > centos is missing, its should be there usually
    there is no centos in add booting option too

    i just installing centos again fresh in the server, no hardware changed, is online again now

    what happened do you think?


    nb. its just personal server, no important data, but i never happened this

    Sounds like you need to scan your disk for bad sectors, chances are somewhere something got corrupted.

    It's either issue with the disk or because of running any operation that corrupted the system files ...
